Hi my name is Weirdo Hehe, This is my 8th grade project. This was a completely new experience for me, I mean coding that's just such a crazy concept to even think about. It's like practically a new language. Anyways, I love engineering, science, art, photography, and music. Originally I was set on photography for my 8th grade project. Capturing nature and the world around me was so therapeutic, but 2 issues arrived shortly after discussing this idea, 1 where would I get a camera? And number 2 how do you document and make photography last for 8 months of work? So this idea quickly got shut down. So a new idea arose, like I said earlier I love engineering (including coding, electrical, manufacturing, ect.) and coding was a foreign to me. Luckily I found a perfect mentor to guide me to where I am now, So that's the story of how coding came to be my 8th grade project. Oh I should mention I learned HTML, CSS and JAVA SCRIPT. You may notice I have some sections above on the purple bar. For the portfolio it showcases art I've created, either traditionally or digitally over the years. The cat section says it all, MY CATS!! That section is all about my cats, unfortunately many have passed over the years, so this page honors the old and the new. THANK YOU SO MUCH IF YOU READ ALL THIS I REALLY POURED MY HEART OUT INTO THIS PROJECT.
Turnip came into my life while I was away, and it was actually my older sibling who found him. They were driving through town when they spotted a sign that read "Free kittens, got to go." Curious, they stopped by and found two cats available, a mama and one kitten. All the others had already been adopted. Without hesitation, they took the little kitten home, and that's when we decided to name him Turnip after the cursed prince named "Turnip head" in Howls Moving Castle. It's been about a year now, and he's become an official member of the family.

One day, my mom was out getting food when she ran into a neighbor who was feeding a group of stray cats. Among them was a little black kitten, eating alongside the older cats. My mom asked, "Does the kitten like you?" The neighbor replied, "Kind of. She seems to trust me more than before, but she's still pretty cautious. The sad part is, there used to be more kittens, but they've started disappearing." That really stuck with my mom. After dinner, she decided that if she could find the kitten, she'd bring her home, and she did. As for the kitten's name, it's a bit funny. No one really rushed to name her, so we just kept calling her "The Kitten." Over time, it just became her name.

My mom got a call about two kittens in the same area where we found The Kitten. She quickly went to pick them up, and they spent some time in quarantine before meeting the other cats. For a while, they didn't have names, and it felt like we might end up in the same situation as we did with The Kitten. Then, my older sibling suggested the names Rhett and Link, after two YouTubers they followed, and everyone agreed. Though the kittens are still a little cautious, we love them just the same.

Marley is the first cat I truly remember, and unfortunately, he passed away last year. My mother adopted him from the SPCA, along with his sister, Shiloh, who has also passed. Sadly, we don't have any pictures of her. Marley lived a long life, and his loss has left a void in our hearts. We all miss him deeply, and I wish he could still be with us. One of his favorite activities was basking in the warmth of the sun on the carpet. Marley, I want you to know that you are still dearly missed by all of us.

A long time ago, my mom found four tiny kittens at a construction site, and we took them in. Now, Peachy is the last one left. Sadly, Crunchy and Bear have passed, and Ferret is living her own life. Peachy has been with our family for a long time, and I'd say he's the cat I'm closest to now. He's been there for me during some tough times, and while he's a bit sassy, I love him to pieces. His name came from his peach-colored fur, and when we were little, we thought it was the perfect fit.
